5G services are launching in India sooner than one can expect.

Two major telecom operators Reliance Jio and Airtel may launch their 5G services in India by the end of this month.

One of the latest reports suggests that the Indian government will officially launch 5G at the inauguration of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) on September 29.

Recently, PM Narendra Modi said that 5G will launch in India sooner than one can expect. He also said the speed of 5G will be 10 times faster than 4G.

5G services will roll out in a phased manner and during the first phase, only select cities will get the fast speed internet service.

To be specific, 5G services will roll out in just 13 cities in the first phase.
